About me
Hello again! I'm Leo.
Thanks so much for stopping by, here is a communal jar of snacks!
(🍬🍩☕🥨🍫🍪)

I am a UX/UI/Product Designer dedicated to turning complex problems into elegant experiences that drive business impact.

I believe that great design goes beyond just solving problems—it’s about clearly articulating how those solutions work in a way that fosters alignment and support. For me, the best designs are ones that seamlessly solve user problems, feel intuitive to interact with, and have the backing of everyone*.

When I put on my professional hat, I am serious about doing serious work seriously. But in the in-between moments, I hope you’ll get to know the “real” me—a designer who’s passionate, curious, and always up for a good laugh.
Where I'm From
I was born in Shenzhen — the Silicon Valley of China. It is a city full of hard-working, innovative people with dreams, and it made me adapt to their fast-paced lifestyle from a young age. My family then moved to several cities and I changed to multiple schools. These experiences broaden my horizons, made me capable of quickly adapting to new things, and always have an easygoing mindset.
Design is a passion of mine...
I am addicted to creating amazing things. Whenever I have some free time, I would usually find some interesting design challenges to do or learn some useful design software/concepts. I will never, ever know everything. Trends change, new tech/tools are created. So to be a designer is to be a lifelong learner, and there is nothing more rewarding to me than waking up every day, and know that I can have to opportunity to improve myself and the world through design.
When I'm not designing...
I love to work out, hangout with friends, go on a hike, travel, practice martial arts and photography. I practiced traditional arts for 10 years, Chinese calligraphy for 5 years, and visited many art galleries and museums around the world. And those practices are beneficial as they cultivated my patience and developed good visual structure and color combinations.
There is an old Chinese saying:
"Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles." Learning gives me off-shelf knowledge, yet traveling makes me experience multiple cultures, get out of my comfort zone to face the upcoming challenges, and see how big the world is with my own eyes.
